Simple Crafty Gifts

I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I couldn’t resist sharing a few cute, simple, and nearly free Christmas gift ideas.
For the teen girl in your life, or girl of any age with an appreciation for all things tiny, adorable, and brightly colored:

Why not make a few of these precious NaniBirds? They are cute as is, or strung together to create a mobile.
For the home organizer, you can whip up a few of these newspaper baskets.

For bonus points, fill them with something special like boxed teas, homemade natural cleaning supplies, or personalized stationary.
For the lover of quirky home décor, or your eye doctor, create and frame a custom eye chart.

This is an example from Oh Dee Doh, but when I hit on a really cute phrase I’m going to make one of these for the roost.
Do y’all have any other simple and sweet gift ideas? I’m thinking of doing a few more gift idea posts – are there any particular categories of gift recipients you’d like to see?
